Find Your Fit

A practice shaped around your experience.

Pace: Very slow, with prop-supported rest

Experience: All experience levels, including first-time students

Restorative Yoga uses bolsters, blocks, blankets, and other supports to help you rest in comfortable postures. Extended holds and breath awareness create an unhurried practice with minimal muscular effort. This format is open to all levels, including beginners. It differs from Yin Yoga, which includes sustained stretching. Ask for help arranging props and adjust your position whenever needed.

Our experienced instructors offer guidance and variations. Let your teacher know you are new, and choose the options that fit your body that day.

This practice is not a substitute for individualized medical or mental health care, physical therapy, or rehabilitation. If pain, injury, balance concerns, or a health condition may affect participation, consult an appropriate clinician and speak with your instructor or practitioner before participating.

Give yourself space to rest in a gentle, deeply relaxing yoga practice. Supported postures use bolsters, blankets, blocks, and other props to minimize effort and encourage comfort. Slow breathing and extended holds invite you to soften tension, settle your attention, and reconnect with a sense of ease.

Level: All levels, including beginners.

This gentle practice uses bolsters, blocks, blankets, and other supports so you can rest in comfortable postures with minimal muscular effort. Extended holds allow time to slow your breathing and turn attention inward. Rather than stretching intensely or working toward a difficult pose, you'll be invited to settle, soften, and experience quiet. It is an approachable class for beginners and seasoned yoga students alike.

The instructor can help you arrange props so you feel well supported. Wear comfortable clothing and give yourself permission to rest without needing to accomplish anything else.
